Toxicological trivia from October 13, 2009: With regard to urushiol, responsible for rush’s dermatitis we can say:
a)It can  not be transmitted from person to person with hands or clothing.
b) It can not remain under the fingernails and then may by scratching move to other parts of the body.
c) It may persist for prolonged periods of up to 1 year on clothes, shoes and tools.
