It is found in southern Central America, northern South America, and Trinidad and Tobago.It tends to inhabit forested areas, and is often found near water. It is mainly arboreal, but also terrestrial.Their bite:a) It is poisonous;b) It is not poisonous;c) Both previous assertions are correct. It depends on the time of year.
