Toxicological trivia from August 19, 2015: The llama (Lama glama) is a domesticated South American camelid, widely used as a meat and pack animal by Andean cultures since pre-Hispanic times.They are abundant Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador and Peru.Llamas which are well-socialized and trained to halter and lead after weaning are very friendly and pleasant to be around. They are extremely curious and most will approach people easily.  In March 2010, we got an article on Neriun oleander poisoning in llamas of Argentina in an farm in:a) The province of Buenos Aires;b) The province of Salta;c) The province of Catamarca.
