Several manufacturers adulterated infant milk formulas with melamine (a substance commonly used to make, among other things, adhesives or coatings) in order to distort the amount of protein product. The consequences were catastrophic: 300,000 children affected with kidney problems and urinary tract infections, six of whom died. A new study reveals that 12% of small complications affected records persist, at least for:a) Three months;b) Six months;c) Nine months.
