Toxicological trivia from August 20, 2013: There are a number of herbal products that are touted as personal use repellents against mosquitoes, which are available in health food stores and veterinary and which are lotions  produced domestically with distilled water, alcohol or oils edible. Thus the available information on the effectiveness and safety of most of these products is limited. An example of these plants is the flower of image, that is;a) Lavender:b) Basil;c) Geranium.
