Toxicological Trivia from April 20, 2010: In November 2008 a massacre with Carbofuran occurred in birds. Thirty thousand birds died in Gualeguaychú, Argentina, by the use of agrochemicals. The government of Entre Rios confirmed that the mortality of birds and other animals that occurred that month was due to abuse of chemicals in agricultural production. (See Spanish article).
