Toxicological trivia from November 06, 2009: The brews and / or infusions of rue (Ruta graveolens) can cause vomiting, swelling and fibriales movements of the tongue, diarrhea, violent abdominal cramps, pelvic congestion, abortion and convulsive coma. The active substance in the rue  is:
a) Rue oil;
b) Ricin;
c) Hyoscyamine.
