Lead poisoning continues to stalk Nigeria. Al Jazeera. May 11, 2012.Ongoing unsafe gold mining by Nigerians in search of a better life has gone unchecked by the government, which has not done enough to spread safe mining practices or clean poisoned villages, Doctors Without Borders has said.
