To identify spider

13 July, 2007
Carlos Abud, Rosario, Argentina.
I have discovered a very showy spider in my terrace and I wanted to know if she is poisonous or if you know where or who can inform me about it. I send you a photo  (I have some more but they are very heavy). Thank you very much
Answer: we do not know to that species belongs but does not correspond to any of the poisonous ones of Argentina. If somebody can contribute more to the restlessness of Carlos, we will thank for it.
Suggestion: Ana Digón think that is an argiopidae spider. The spiders of the family argiopidae (several sorts and species, very common in Argentina) are weavers(nonhunting), nonaggressive and devoid of poison of toxicologic importance for the man. Some sorts are very showy, with his coleres metalized, but but the characteristic thing is the structure and design of the fabric, simultaneously aesthetic and resistant. Argiopidaes is friendly spiders that collaborate in the depredation of insects[ See ].
