El presente aporte está relacionado con diferentes aspectos de la Toxicología que aplican al momento de necesitar esta ciencia en el ámbito de la Justicia. Se describe una introducción a la toxicología, para luego entender el rol de especialista como perito y la elaboración de los informes periciales. Se considera la importancia de la conservación de las diferentes muestras que pueden ser objeto de análisis en toxicología, como así la  necesidad de contar con fuentes confiables en esta ciencia a través de sitios web de reconocido origen, concluyendo en el concepto de la cadena de custodia y su importancia en el ámbito judicial.

The Toxicology in the field of JusticeThis contribution is related to different aspects of toxicology that apply at the time of need this science in the field of justice.
